Kerry has tried $70 million securities fraud cases for investment management companies, and achieved multi-million dollar results for plaintiffs in securities fraud cases. Kerry has handled $100 million contract cases for municipalities against Fortune 50 companies. He has also tried to jury verdict $5 million lender liability cases for financial institutions. Kerry has also handled a myriad of cases enforcing the rights and responsibilities associated with limited liability companies and their managers and members, including company dissolutions, breach of fiduciary duty, management disputes, oppression, and collection actions to enforce capital contribution obligations. Kerry is experienced dealing with insurance coverage disputes of all kinds, including representing industry in environmental insurance coverage matters associated with the Portland Harbor Superfund Site,

Kerry graduated magna cum laude from Willamette University College of Law, where he served as the editor-in-chief of the Willamette Law Review. Following law school, Kerry practiced with a regional law firm with an office in Seattle, Washington from 1989 to 1994, and came to Oregon in 1994. Kerry joined Markowitz, Herbold, Glade & Mehlhaf in 1999 and has been a partner with the firm since 2000.
