Chambers USA Client’s Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers for Business once again has ranked Markowitz, Herbold, Glade & Mehlhaf #1 for commercial litigation in Oregon. Shareholders David Markowitz, Peter Glade, and Kerry Shepherd were listed as leaders in their field, with Markowitz cited as a one of two top litigators in the state.
The
Chambers USA directory rates law firms and leading lawyers across the U.S. More than 14,000 in-depth interviews with lawyers and clients were conducted in order to compile the rankings. The qualities on which rankings are assessed include technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment, and other qualities most valued by clients.
This is the fifth year in a row that Markowitz, Herbold, Glade & Mehlhaf has been ranked first for litigation in Oregon.
David Markowitz was one of only a handful of lawyers across the country who obtained a “Star Performer” classification for general commercial litigation. According to the guide, star individuals are the first names that roll off everyone’s lips, and the standard by which other lawyers are judged. The star category is reserved for those individuals who are at the top of their game and whose profile is far ahead of the pack.
In addition, Markowitz was one of only 64 attorneys in the country selected for the guide's nationwide list of top trial lawyers.
