Portland, Ore. -- Six lawyers from Portland litigation firm Markowitz, Herbold, Glade & Mehlhaf were honored in the 2009 issue of
Oregon Super Lawyers. The publication identifies the top five percent of attorneys in the state, as chosen by their peers and through the independent research of
Law & Politics magazine.
David Markowitz, Peter Glade, William Mehlhaf and Lisa Kaner were listed in the Business Litigation category. Jeffrey Batchelor was recognized for his work in the area of alternative dispute resolution. Lynn Nakamato was included in the Employment & Labor category.
Markowitz, Glade and Batchelor received special mention for being among the Top 50 attorneys in Oregon. Markowitz also made the Top 10 list, earning the second highest number of points of any lawyer in the state.
Additionally, Markowitz is the subject of this year’s
